Arm-Cortex-M0 and M0+ based PSoC® 4 devices are perfect for applications involving HMI, sensor hubs and other mixed-signal subsystems. The family features advanced functions, such as analog sensor integration, CapSense capacitive and MagSense inductive sensing solutions, and wireless connectivity.
The PSoC® 6 combines high performance and power-efficiency with dual-core ARM’s Cortex®-M4 and Cortex-M0+ processors in a single chip. With advanced features, including the programmable analog and digital peripherals, integrated BLE 5.0 radio, CapSense interface and built-in security, this family is purposely designed for IIoT applications, such as predictive maintenance (PdM) and condition monitoring (CM).
When generating a vast amount of sensor data, such as in a PdM or CM implementation, an external device is needed for the continuous amount of data collected. In an industrial setting, these devices must withstand tough environmental conditions. Excelon F-RAM offers data retention of up to 100 years with a read/write endurance of 100-trillion write cycles for up to 20 years at 85°C.
